Where do we meet, and what happens?
Sessions take place in a private, comfortable room at Intergen House on Western Road in central Hove, held to the strict BACP confidentiality you would expect. We begin with a free fifteen-minute call to check we are a good fit, and the same sessions are available by secure video if travelling is difficult or you would simply prefer it.
The Hove room is around twenty minutes away by car along the main road west, or a direct train to Brighton and a couple of stops onward. Couples often travel together and use the drive back to carry on the conversation, which is frequently where the useful part happens. Coming separately is equally fine. Where the journey does not fit the week, the same appointment runs online by secure video, from one screen or from two.

How long before we could actually be seen?
Usually a week or two after the free 15-minute consultation, which is a short conversation and not an assessment. No referral is needed from a GP or anyone else. Times in the early evening are the most sought after, so mention what suits you at the outset.
What are the fees, and does a couple pay more than one person?
The charge is per appointment regardless of how many people attend: £80 for sixty minutes, £100 for ninety, £120 for two hours. Ninety minutes often works better for couples, since an hour disappears quickly with two of you talking. The first 15 minutes are free, and you can have them over the phone from Lewes.
