Online Relationship Counselling · Slough

In and around Slough
Life in Slough
Very few couples in this town are short of things to do. Between the Slough Trading Estate, the logistics and manufacturing sector and a second job that pays for the rest of it, a household can run on two people who are almost never awake in the same room at the same time. The Elizabeth line to Paddington takes others out before dawn and returns them late. Somewhere in that, in a flat in Chalvey or a full house in Langley, the pair of you stopped being a pair and became a rota. Nobody chose it. It happened one covered shift at a time, and now the silence in the car feels heavy.

Relationship counselling here, for couples or individuals, slows down the pattern you are caught in and builds healthier ways of hearing and being heard.
The approach does not change with the postcode, so rather than repeat it on every page you can read it in full, the methods and what each session covers, on the full relationship counselling page, alongside the practical side and my credentials and registration.
Sessions run over a secure, encrypted video link, held to the same BACP confidentiality as meeting in person. After a free fifteen-minute call, you join from any private space on a phone, tablet or laptop.
Everything happens online by secure video, which is the only version of this that fits a working week like yours. Bradley is in Hove and there is nothing here to travel to, so a session can go in at seven in the morning or nine at night without a journey attached. You can attend together, or one of you can come alone from a parked car outside the estate. Headphones and half an hour of privacy are all that is needed.

Relationship Counselling in Slough
What brings couples in Slough to relationship work is usually depletion rather than conflict. There is no time left over, so nothing gets repaired, and small resentments accumulate until they harden. Family expectations add their own weight, particularly where relatives at home or abroad hold firm views about what a marriage should look like and who should be adjusting. Recorded depression on GP registers here stood at 10.3% of adults aged 18 and over in 2024/25, below the England average of 14.3%, though in a town where many households juggle more than one job, a low recorded figure often reflects how rarely people reach a GP appointment rather than how much they are carrying. Sessions work on what happens between the two of you when things tighten, not on who is to blame. Coming by yourself is entirely acceptable. NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies takes self-referrals free of charge, and Turning Point runs the town's drug and alcohol service.
Not sure if it is right for you? A free fifteen-minute call is a no-obligation way to talk it through.

This is not a crisis service. If anyone is in immediate danger call 999. For urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option. The Samaritans are free, day or night, on 116 123, or text SHOUT to 85258.
Slough questions
It usually can, because there is no travel time to find. Sessions run early and late, and the weekly slot moves with your rota rather than being cancelled when the pattern changes. Fortnightly is also possible if a weekly hour is genuinely beyond reach at the moment.
An hour is £80, ninety minutes is £100 and two hours is £120, with the same fee whether one or both of you attend. Before any booking there is a free 15-minute consultation. Payment happens session by session, so nothing is owed in advance.
NHS Berkshire Talking Therapies costs nothing and you can refer yourself without a GP appointment first. Mind in Berkshire covers this town too and runs wellbeing support. Putting a self-referral in while you think about other options loses you nothing at all.
This comes up constantly here, and it is workable. Headphones mean only your side is audible, and many people book while the house is at work or school. A car is a surprisingly good option. The hour needs privacy rather than an empty house.
Completely. Nothing is passed to your family, your GP or your employer without your agreement, and there is no building here that anyone could see you entering. What you say in the hour stays between the people in it, and that is the whole basis of the work.
Because sessions are online with nothing to travel to, we can find a slot in the gaps of a packed week, including the evening. Many Slough couples juggling long shifts and family find that not having to get anywhere is what finally makes regular sessions possible.
Usually within a week. There is no waiting list, so after a free 15-minute consultation we book a first session around long shifts and the working week. It is held securely online, joined from home in Langley, Cippenham or Chalvey, with no journey to squeeze into an already busy day.
Sessions are £80 for 60 minutes, £100 for 90 minutes and £120 for 120 minutes, after a free 15-minute consultation. NHS Talking Therapies in Berkshire is free but can involve a waiting list, whereas private work with Bradley lets the two of you choose a time that fits your shifts.
Whenever suits you both. With nothing to travel to, online sessions can be joined from home, or from two places if one of you is still at work, with earlier or later slots available. We find a regular time that survives a demanding working week rather than adding to it.
A free fifteen-minute call is the simplest place to start, no obligation, just a chance to see if we are the right fit.
