Addiction Counselling · Saltdean
Addiction Counselling for Saltdean and the surrounding area, in person or online. Saltdean, known for its restored Art Deco Lido and clifftop coast, sits east along the seafront. From my room in nearby Hove I offer a calm, confidential space to do this work.

In and around Saltdean
Saltdean is known for the Grade II*-listed Saltdean Lido, a restored 1930s Art Deco outdoor swimming pool on the clifftop coast.
Life in Saltdean
Saltdean is defined by its coast, from the beautifully restored Art Deco Lido to the long Undercliff Walk beneath the white cliffs. The residential streets climb the valley behind, around the Oval and Longridge Avenue, giving a quiet, close community with the sea always in view. It draws families and people seeking a calmer life a little way out from the city, though distance from the centre can bring its own isolation. When something is weighing on you, a confidential counselling room a short drive west along the coast in Hove offers a private space to work things through, and online sessions mean you need not leave the clifftop at all.

Addiction counselling here treats the pain beneath the habit, not just the symptom, alcohol, drugs, gambling, food or behavioural, so recovery is something you grow into rather than force.
The approach is the same wherever you come from, so rather than repeat it on every page you can read it in full, the methods, what each session covers and fees, on the main addiction counselling page and on how I work.
Sessions take place in a private, comfortable room at Intergen House on Western Road in central Hove, held to the strict BACP confidentiality you would expect. We begin with a free fifteen-minute call to check we are a good fit, and the same sessions are available by secure video if travelling is difficult or you would simply prefer it.
From Saltdean the coast road runs west through Rottingdean and Brighton to Hove, around twenty to twenty-five minutes by car.
