Online Relationship Counselling · Crewe
Online relationship counselling for Crewe, by secure video. From a base in Hove I work with people across Crewe, from the town centre and the station to the streets around the railway heritage, with the same BACP-registered, confidential support as an in-person session, and no journey.

In and around Crewe
Life in Crewe
Crewe runs on rotas. The railway industry built this town and Bentley Motors still shapes a great many households, which means shift patterns decide when couples actually see one another. Nights, earlies, overtime taken because the money is needed: two people can share a house in Wistaston or Coppenhall for a fortnight and barely be awake at the same time. What follows is predictable and rarely discussed. One of you handles everything at home and starts making decisions alone. The other comes off a run of nights, finds the household running perfectly well without them, and feels surplus. Neither of you meant it. It simply happened one shift at a time.

Relationship counselling here, for couples or individuals, slows down the pattern you are caught in and builds healthier ways of hearing and being heard.
Rather than say the same thing on every page, the substance lives on the main relationship counselling page, with how sessions run and what they cost for the practical questions and my BACP registration for registration and ethics.
Sessions run over a secure, encrypted video link, held to the same BACP confidentiality as meeting in person. After a free fifteen-minute call, you join from any private space on a phone, tablet or laptop.
This is online work by video or phone, with Bradley in Hove, and that fits a shift town better than a fixed appointment ever could. Sessions can sit before a late start or after a school run, and can move when the rota does. If one of you is on days and the other on nights, you can still meet as a couple by joining from different rooms or different places. Coming alone is an entirely normal way to start.

Relationship Counselling in Crewe
Couples here often present with the same three things: no time, no conversation and no patience. Underneath sits worry, and there is a good deal of it locally, with 25.7% of adults reporting a high anxiety score in 2022/23 against an England average of 23.8%. Chronic worry about hours, money or job security makes people short-tempered at home and then guilty about it, and a partner who is worried can look identical to a partner who has gone cold. We work on how the two of you talk when you are tired, how to repair after a row instead of leaving it to settle, and what closeness looks like when your weeks do not line up. Change Grow Live runs the Cheshire East drug and alcohol service in Crewe if drinking to wind down after shifts has become part of it, and the NHS Talking Therapies finder covers free individual self-referral in England.
Not sure if it is right for you? A free fifteen-minute call is a no-obligation way to talk it through.
Book a free 15-minute callMy online counselling sits alongside the help available locally. In Crewe, you can refer yourself directly to NHS talking therapies for anxiety and depression, with no GP referral needed. You can find support through the NHS Talking Therapies finder.
Private sessions with me usually mean you can start sooner and stay with the same counsellor throughout; I am glad to work alongside any NHS or GP support you already have.

This is not a crisis service. If anyone is in immediate danger call 999. For urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option. The Samaritans are free, day or night, on 116 123, or text SHOUT to 85258.
Crewe questions
Yes, and that is the usual arrangement rather than a special case. Where a fixed weekly time is impossible we book the next slot at the end of each session, working from your rota. Early and late times both exist, and there is no travelling to factor in.
£80 for 60 minutes, £100 for 90, £120 for a full two hours, and the fee is the same whether one or both of you attend. Couples generally do better with 90 minutes. A free 15-minute consultation comes first so you can both ask questions.
It is the free England-wide self-referral route and it is aimed at individual anxiety and depression rather than couples. If one of you is struggling in your own right, using it alongside relationship sessions here is a practical arrangement rather than a contradiction.
It can certainly become one, and it is a common reason people get in touch. Relationship work looks at what the drinking does between you. For the drinking itself, the Cheshire East service run by Change Grow Live in Crewe is the local route.
Most couples find somewhere: a car on the drive, a bedroom with headphones, or a slot when the house is empty. Voice-only sessions help if a screen would be awkward. Nothing about this requires a spare room, and nobody needs to know you are talking to anyone.
Yes. Meeting online gives us more flexibility to find a slot when you're both free, whether that's a quieter daytime hour or an evening. Shift patterns make regular times harder, so we'd aim for consistency where we can and adjust around changing rotas when needed.
Usually within a week or two. I work online from Hove, so Crewe couples do not join a waiting list. We start with a free fifteen-minute call to check the fit, then book a first session that suits you both, whether you are in Wistaston, Shavington or nearer the station.
Couples often choose the ninety-minute session at £100, as relationship work benefits from the extra time, though sixty minutes is £80. NHS support around Leighton Hospital leans towards individuals, so couples frequently come privately. The first fifteen-minute consultation is free.
Yes. Since it is online, one of you can join from home in Coppenhall and the other around a rota or from away, and we still meet together. We would find a regular time that works around the shifts and keep it as steady as we can for you both.
A free fifteen-minute call is the simplest place to start, no obligation, just a chance to see if we are the right fit.
Also available online across North West: Chester, Stoke-on-Trent, Warrington. See all of North West.
