Not by me. There is no automatic note to any NHS service, employer or family member, and nothing is passed to Bradford Teaching Hospitals or your surgery. Confidentiality only gives way where there is a serious, immediate danger to life, and I would discuss that with you first.

Groups ask you to speak in front of strangers, which suits some people and silences others. This is one to one, so the hour belongs entirely to your situation, and nobody is watching you decide what to say. Many people use counselling precisely because groups did not fit.
Could anyone find out I'm having counselling?
No. Our work is private and confidential, and because it's online there's no clinic to be seen entering or leaving. You choose a place where you can't be overheard, and nothing about the sessions is shared with anyone locally without your agreement.
