Can counselling help with the comedown days rather than the using itself?
Often that is where the real damage sits. The low, irritable days after, the sleep that never quite returns, the arguments that only seem to happen midweek. Working on the aftermath often opens more than arguing about the substance does, because it deals with what the week is actually costing you.
Can I speak to you without involving my GP or anyone I know?
Yes. I'm an independent private counsellor, so nothing goes to your GP or anyone else unless there's a serious safety concern we'd talk through first. You can work on this entirely separately from local services and your usual circle in Blackburn.
