Born in South Africa, emigrated to UK aged 3. Struggled with 'issues' in teens and early adulthood. At 40 I embarked on a stage of self analysis and questioning that culminated in a Counselling qualification and career as a counsellor/therapist. As I have had my own encounters and battles with addiction it seemed to me like a natural progression to train as an addiction counsellor specialist.

Addiction Counselling

I have looked long and hard at my life, what I've done, why I've done it and what I maybe should or ought to have done. But none of that makes any sense if I am to move forward. Live is about accepting what we can do and leaving what we can;t do to those who can do it and knowing the difference.
